The Berkeley Partnership

Profile

I graduated from Imperial College, London with a degree in Mining Geology, and joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in 1988, seduced by the variety of interesting work. After 6 years there, I moved to Berkeley. I have had the privilege of working with a range of fascinating clients throughout my career, including Marks and Spencer, Barclays and The Woolwich. I once went to a food tasting at M&S and ended up eating about 15 slices of pizza in one sitting; I hadn't realised their tasters had been surreptitiously spitting out, wine-tasting style!

I particularly enjoy bringing shape and pace to new situations and find our style of working as part of a client's team - as opposed to being part of a large group of externals - immensely satisfying. Having been at Berkeley since 1995 and helped to grow the firm, I'm glad to say our core values of "doing the right thing", a high quality results focus and bringing a sense of enthusiasm and positivism to situations have not been diluted one bit.

Having avoided sport during my 20’s and most of my 30’s I recently took up running which is something I really enjoy, particularly when I overtake people in their 20’s and early 30's in races!
