Profile
Having finished my degree in Engineering and Management at the University of Bath I joined Accenture. What attracted me to management consultancy initially, was the opportunity not only to learn and develop quickly – but to keep on learning and developing throughout my career. A lot of time has passed since then, but that still remains very important to me today.
During my early years at Accenture, I had a tremendous variety of assignments from Automotive to Construction Equipment, to Formula 1 - and then during the later years I started to specialise in Pharmaceuticals. In 2002, with challenge and variety in mind, I decided to make the move to Berkeley after 7 years at Accenture. Since then I’ve worked across a range of new industries and sectors such as legal services, retail, utilities, oil exploration, commodities trading and petrochemicals.
Having a wide range of experiences across industries and sectors has not only been great for my own personal development. I’ve also found that the breadth of perspective and challenge I am now able to bring, makes a really positive difference to the way I approach consulting assignments and to the solutions that result.
Originally from Cornwall, I enjoy sailing and windsurfing whenever I get the chance – although I have to say that the quality and quantity of opportunities in west London where I live now, don’t quite match up to those available in west Cornwall!
