Profile
Supported by a sponsorship from Rolls-Royce, I graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Engineering in 1990. From there I joined Andersen Consulting where I worked with a number of clients in the Retail Financial Services Sector before coming to Berkeley in 1997. Since then I’ve never looked back!
At Berkeley I have worked with a variety of clients from across a range of different industries, including: The Woolwich, William Hill, LIFFE and an integrated energy group. The roles have been equally varied ranging from Programme Management through business strategy development and even acting as an Interim IT Director.
What makes Berkeley special for me is the quality of our people. As well as being very bright, the demanding nature of client work demands excellent interpersonal skills. Then there is our impressive list of top tier clients. We have a relationship - based business model that has stood the test of time. Our strong long-term client relationships generate nearly all our work, either directly or through referrals.
Outside of work, apart from revelling in bringing up the kids, I do a bit of running (I’m famous within Berkeley for finally managing to beat my wife one year in our annual Corporate Challenge event) and as much skiing as I can. I’d use all my holiday for skiing trips if I could get away with it!
