After studying engineering at Trinity College Cambridge, I joined Andersen Consulting working on a wide variety of projects across Oil and Gas, Utilities, Telecoms and Government. It was a terrific grounding but after six years I knew I needed something different.
When I first encountered Berkeley I was intrigued by this young independent consultancy tackling very challenging projects within an impressive blue chip client list. I liked the idea of a firm ‘punching well above its weight’, with a strong focus on integrity and client service. I took the plunge, joined Berkeley, and have never looked back.
During my time here I have been involved in some of our client’s larger transformation initiatives. I was Programme Manager for the LIFFE CONNECT™ Programme which transitioned the LIFFE open outcry market onto a world leading electronic trading platform. More recently, I have managed a large global team re-engineering the trading and supply systems for a major integrated oil company. I became a partner in 1998.
Outside of work I try to keep fit with a mix of tennis, cycling and swimming. I would love to play the piano well but am finding out the hard way that enthusiasm is no substitute for talent!
