Yes. Due to the nature of the work we do, previous consultancy experience is essential
No. We only hire people with previous consultancy experience. Typically candidates would be operating at Manager Level already when they make the move to Berkeley
As a consultant at Berkeley our expectation is that you are available to work with our clients on site and of, course there may be some travel involved as a result of that. As a measure we ask our consultants to be flexible to travel within 1.5 hours of the office and the majority of our clients are within London and the South East. Should an opportunity come up that is outside that, then we would work closely with our consultants to ensure that the travel was manageable and suited their personal circumstances. If it was not then a consultant can turn down that role and we would look for something more suitable.
We have 16 Partners, 66 consultants and 11 office staff
We aim to hire up to 10 consultants per year. Our growth plans are stable and take a long term view. In the 22 years that Berkeley have been operating we have grown at a steady pace year on year. We will continue to hire in this way for the foreseeable future as we believe that managed growth helps us to move forward whilst also preserving our culture.

No, you must already have the right to work legally in the UK in order to apply.
Yes, we do have consultants who work on a part time or flexible basis. Each request is evaluated on a case by case basis and we work with consultants who ask for flexible working to find a mutually workable solution.
