Charles Denney

Consultant

I joined Accenture in 1998 after graduating from Bradford University with a fondness for Chicken Jalfrezi and a degree in International Management and Spanish.

With a graduate brochure in one hand and a programmer’s guide to COBOL in the other, I started my consultancy career at Seeboard in East Croydon on a customer billing implementation. I then spent 5 years working on a variety of projects for utilities clients in and around the South East of England before taking a leave of absence to travel through South America, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. On my return, I was promptly dispatched to an industrial estate in Warwick to conduct a strategic IT review for National Grid/Transco followed by 8 months on a custom build implementation at AOL.

Prior to joining Berkeley, I spent 2 years managing a series of process streamlining projects at a well known Anglo/Dutch oil company in preparation for the introduction of a global SAP platform.

Outside of work I enjoy tennis, snowboarding and riding my mountain bike through the alpine peaks and valleys of the Surrey hills. Given my Catalan ancestry, I also spend a great deal of time in a beautiful little village called Llafranch, which is nestled between the equally picturesque bays of Tamariu and Calella de Palafrugell on the Costa Brava.
