I graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology with a MSc in Industrial Management and after a year travelling around the world researching supply chain management, joined Accenture.
I met my English wife soon after starting my career and moved to London in 1996. I have since worked with a wide variety of clients such as Nokia, Shell, Sainsbury's and Royal & SunAlliance.
I have always enjoyed consulting - and I particularly like Berkeley's approach to work which is taking the client's people along in the journey of change. I'd like to think that one of my strengths is to be able to integrate into the client organisation and achieve goals as a joint team.
I always wanted to become a professional tennis player but the best I was able to achieve is to move to Wimbledon - although I still play a lot at the weekends. I really enjoy cooking, and with a son and a daughter that is a good skill to have. If there is one thing I miss from Finland it is saunas - next time we move I'll make sure there will be enough space to build one!
