I am proud of a decade of building high performing teams and delivering complex change programmes in the transport sector. Working for key clients National Express, Transport for London, Network Rail and Govia Thameslink Railway. I advocate a common goal approach and recognising the strengths of others has brought me success.
Whether modernising stations, introducing new rolling stock or establishing programme management office functions, I have successfully managed significant change to customer experience, technology, assurance processes and operating models. I am as comfortable wearing a hard hat in Derby in the snow commissioning new train software as being in the boardroom gaining executive approval for a portfolio management strategy.
I have had the pleasure of working with a Berkeley team delivering a challenging change programme at Govia Thameslink Railway and quickly felt an affinity with the customer centred, integrated approach where the focus was ‘doing the right thing’. During my time delivering change in the transport sector I have advocated common themes essential for success: open dialogue, clear roadmap and ‘one team’ approach. These are the same principles I have found working with The Berkeley Partnership.
Outside of work my most enjoyable pastime is bringing people together... I smile and say hello to everyone I meet and take advantage of the wealth of art, music, theatre and community events on offer in London. I strongly believe that by connecting people we can enhance positivity through breaking down barriers and creating opportunity through sharing of ideas and building a support network. When I am not engaging the community in ‘small talk’ I can be found cycling through London, with my wife Clara, taking in the architecture and parks.
