Jan Mueller
Consultant
Originally from Germany, I moved to London in 2004 looking for a challenge, both work and life, and new experiences in a foreign country.
After I graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, I joined Andersen Consulting/Accenture in Germany in 1998. With the move to London and I transferred to Accenture UK into their Business Consulting – Customer Relationship Management practice. At Accenture, I worked across a variety of projects (spanning software development life cycle, change management, offshoring/outsourcing and strategy) at a variety of clients (Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods, Telecommunications) with a variety of project locations (Germany, UK, Turkey, Philippines, and with project teams located everywhere in Europe). After Accenture, I worked for UBS Investment Bank for 2 years running business process offshoring and outsourcing projects.
I joined Berkeley in May 2009, attracted by the variety of work and clients and the strong focus on making a real difference. I had the opportunity to support PRUPIM in redefining their strategy, and to help a global pharmaceutical company in creating their servicing model for Learning & Development. Both projects gave me the chance to work with senior management and resolve complex problems.
I’m married and we have two little kids, who keep us very busy. Therefore weekends are often spent in London’s parks and meeting up with friends and their kids.
