Kirsty Nethersell
Consultant
I graduated from Liverpool University with a degree in Geography in 1999 and began my management consultancy career at Accenture.
The variety of work was the initial draw to consultancy and during the last 8 years I have worked with some fantastic clients including a global oil company, Castrol, Centrica, National Grid Transco, EDF Energy and Telstra.
My greatest enjoyment at work comes from solving problems (perhaps this also explains my strange addiction to murder mystery books and programmes). I like to think one of the strengths I bring to work is my attention to detail and I enjoy the collaborative style of working at Berkeley, bouncing around ideas when trying to resolve issues.
Outside work I’m most likely to be found in my kitchen – I adore cooking and if I wasn’t a management consultant I would have loved to be a chef. I also enjoy fly fishing, not least as a handy supply of free ingredients.
