I started my consultancy career with Accenture in 2001, having graduated with a Politics degree from the University of Sheffield.  I’ve had a varied exposure to different sectors and clients, starting off in delivery roles with big pharma companies and a UK supermarket, then in the NHS and a huge SAP implementation at a global consumer goods giant. Most recently, I have completed supply chain, programme management and IT strategy work with international NGOs as they faced challenges akin to those of many commercial organisations, although in a very different context.

I joined Berkeley to work directly with clients on their most challenging issues, working with a wide variety of organisations, but without a pre-determined or method-based solution.  I’m motivated much more by listening to clients with big problems and working to determine the best path forward with them, rather than looking to impose inflexible solutions and templates. I was impressed with the positive energy which Berkeley exudes. It helped make Berkeley feel a natural fit for me.

Outside of the office I enjoy following the travails of Everton Football Club whenever I can. Sometimes I even support my other passion in life, my partner Sally, by watching her team (Sheffield Wednesday) for a taste of football outside of the top flight.  I also love relaxing with a glass of decent wine (or whisky), or going to a gig in London that matches my dubious taste in music.
