David Winterflood
Operations Manager
After graduating from Newcastle University with a BSc in Physiology in 1999 I joined a London-based human capital management organisation in a research role, working in a variety of business units from search, managed selection and then into outplacement & career transition. Clients included global fund managers, investment banks, international consultancies and energy companies. After five years I moved to a competitor and took on an operational management role helping to turn the business around and transform the internal effectiveness of the firm. During this time I also worked on the successful integration of two acquired businesses, managed the implementation of a new technology infrastructure and even coerced members of the board to partake in running events for charity!
I joined Berkeley in 2010 and oversee the operational side of the business. Berkeley is different, it’s special. It is built on a solid foundation of very strong values and beliefs, and the team brings together strong strategy and great delivery skills with engaging and passionate personalities.
I am married to Kate, and have two young sons who keep me busy. I love rugby, though watch more than I play now, and I do my best to keep fit through running and gym work. I am an enthusiastic cook, though I doubt I’ll be featuring on Masterchef any time soon. In what spare time I have, I indulge in my passion of photography.
