Berkeley puts a lot of effort into developing the sense of community within the office, so you get to know everyone beyond their work life. This starts with a two-week induction period when you are given the opportunity to have lunch or coffee with as many people as you can, and continues throughout Berkeley life with regular lunch events, away days and the annual Berkeley Away Weekend.
My favourite engagement has been working with a global retailer to deliver their enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation for retail, supply chain and finance across 12 countries, eight global depots and 400+ stores. I joined the project during the early test phases to lead the programme through functional testing and the transition of new services until they were live and in production.
I love problem solving, which probably comes from having an engineering degree. Consulting gives me the opportunity to work on our clients' most challenging programmes, working with their top-level teams. Each new client and assignment brings exciting challenges and the opportunity to build long lasting relationships.
