Business Development & Marketing Manager (on maternity leave)
After graduating from The University of Nottingham with a degree in History of Art, I set out to find a job in the world of communications.
Following an initial stint at a London-based corporate communications agency and subsequently a surveying consultancy, I made the decision to move to the Middle East to gain some international experience, working for law firm Trowers & Hamlins LLP on a range of marketing and business development initiatives. After two years abroad, I returned to London, accepting a role within the litigation practice of Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP. Over the course of four years there, I worked for a number of contentious groups managing the CRM, BD and marketing communications across multiple channels.
I joined Berkeley in December 2015 as Business Development & Marketing Manager. The prospect of not only working in a new industry, but for a consultancy with such a distinctive culture and set of values that it secured them a ranking in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list (for four years running) was a particularly appealing opportunity.
Outside of work, I still remain interested in art and try to make the most of all the galleries that London has to offer whenever I can. Like most people, I look forward to planning trips abroad (India being my favourite destination, having returned three times!) and making the most of the outdoors.
