After graduating from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), I decided to begin my career in sales, and found a job with Coca-Cola in Wellington. Three years later, I decided to move to London to pursue a new career in Finance and by studying CIMA I broadened my understanding of using Financial information to assist Management and enable effective business operations.
After graduating as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2012, I began working as Management Accountant for two start-up businesses within the UK’s largest venture builder. I then progressed to a Financial Controller role within their central finance function, assuming responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and all Management Reporting.
I joined Berkeley in 2016 as the Financial Controller, attracted to the fantastic working environment, the chance to broaden my management skills and opportunity to work with a new US entity.
Outside of Berkeley I spend most of my time looking after my son Ryan. I am also a keen sports fan of the armchair variety, especially supporting my native rugby team, the All Blacks.
