After graduating from York University in 2006 with a masters degree in Physics, I instantly decided that a career in technology was for me. I joined Accenture’s technology consulting practice where I spent 9 years working on complex technology transformation programmes primarily across oil and gas, telecommunications and the financial sector. Through a range of projects, I built my experience in technology strategy and information security, covering biometrics and cyber defence as well as more recent experience in financial payments.
Since I joined Berkeley in 2016 I have focussed my time on supporting clients with their biggest strategic challenges which has been hugely rewarding. Berkeley has a genuine family feel to it, where everyone is keen to support and challenge each other. The team of driven and engaging people here certainly made my move from “big consulting” so much easier.
Even though I have lived in London for over 10 years I still feel like a tourist in a big city, but I still find time to explore. As well as being a definite foodie (as friends will agree), I am also a keen traveller and combine this with a love for photography – the two seem to go hand in hand quite well as I slowly tick countries off my bucket list. I have a love for the outdoors also and try to surf and swim when I can, but I am more regularly found on my road bike.
