I joined Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in 1998 after graduating from Nottingham University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. After 4 years with Arthur Andersen specialising in customer relationship management, I wanted to get some industry experience from a client’s perspective. I joined Three Mobile and stayed for two years preparing the organisation for launch, then implementing a CRM system globally post-launch.
In 2004 I decided to return to consulting because I enjoy the continual challenge and variety the career offers, and I have been at Berkeley ever since. I made the most of the opportunity to take some time out to go travelling in 2010 which was a fantastic experience.
Then, more recently, I went on maternity leave and returned in 2013 working four days per week. It takes some juggling to condense busy consulting roles into a shorter week but I love having the extra day with my daughter and Berkeley has been supportive of that.
Berkeley has exceeded my expectations in terms of breadth of industry exposure and assignment types, and I have really enjoyed working as part of a client team supported by the positive Berkeley culture – it’s a great place to develop your own style of consulting while sharing and building ideas with highly capable people.
Outside work, my profile used to say I love to travel and am usually away or planning the next trip – but life is spent a little closer to home with the family these days!
