I started my consulting career after graduating with a degree in Biology from Bristol University (and a season on the snow in the French Alps), by joining Ernst & Young’s Advisory Practice in 2006. With little idea about what consulting entailed at the start, I quickly became embroiled in some fascinating work – and so developed a real interest in helping to solve the major issues that my clients faced.
Over the past 7 years, I’ve gained a variety of experience across different industries and client situations. This has taken me from conducting a comprehensive strategic review of a Middle Eastern utilities provider, to the total redesign of a healthcare call centre business, to the design and shaping of complaints handling processes and systems for a global steel business. I relish a challenge and enjoy helping to solve the big ticket items on my clients’ worry lists.
I joined Berkeley in January 2014 as I was attracted to their straightforward approach to client delivery. With only the bare-minimum to distract us internally, we’re able to devote ourselves to the main cause: our clients. It’s a hugely refreshing approach, which combined with a sociable and collaborative culture, makes it a rewarding and exciting place to be.
Outside work, I’m a passionate skier and traveller and have recently managed to combine the two with a two week skiing trip to Kashmir in northern India. When I’m not trekking about with planks strapped to my feet, I enjoy the theatre, the great outdoors and a challenging bike ride.
