I graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology with a MSc in Industrial Management and after a year travelling around the world, joined Accenture.
Shortly after starting my career I met my English wife and moved to London. I have since worked with a wide variety of clients such as Nokia, Shell, Sainsbury's, Unilever, Royal Mail and Xerox.
My assignments have ranged from IT strategy to programme management; and over the last few years the focus has been on the turnaround of failing programmes.
I joined Berkeley 7 years ago and have not looked back. I particularly like Berkeley's approach to work which is taking clients along with them on the journey of delivery and change. I'd like to think that one of my strengths is to be able to integrate into a client organisation and achieve goals as a joint team.
During my younger years I dreamed of becoming a professional tennis player. Those times are long gone but I still play and compete a lot at the weekends. I really enjoy cooking, and with a son and a daughter that is a good skill to have. When I moved to England there was one thing I missed from Finland and it is saunas – I have finally managed to build one in my house!
