After completing my MBA and MS at University of Pittsburgh, I joined Schering Plough, a pharmaceutical company that was subsequently bought by Merck. I spent 8 years in the Pharmaceutical industry serving internally and also in an agency set up which helped me develop a broad set of skills in Change, Strategy, Technology and Organizational Design.
I joined Deloitte in 2011 in their S&O practice serving Life Sciences clients primarily as a Senior Manager. My experience at Deloitte really helped deepen my consulting skill set and gave me an opportunity to work and learn from a highly talented team of people. I was fortunate to land a role to lead an innovation lab at Deloitte for one of their largest Life Sciences client which has been one of the most fulfilling experiences for me as a professional. Driving strategic conversations with the top executives in the industry and helping them achieve breakthroughs on critical issues facing them was not only exciting but also enabled me to truly be entrepreneurial and use my experience and knowledge to its fullest.
After about 8 years at Deloitte, I wanted to go broader than the Life Sciences industry and also be part of a more entrepreneurial and a high growth set up. Values, orientation towards executive coaching combined with rigor in delivery, high impact projects and broad client portfolio are what attracted me to Berkeley along with the excitement of a newly established New York office.
I call myself an amateur cook and delve frequently into cooking experiments. I am an avid reader with interests in world religions and classic English literature. During most weekends, you can catch me exploring various cultural venues like Lincoln Center or enjoying a riverside walk at the Hoboken waterfront.
