After graduating in 2008 from the University of Southampton with a degree in Geography, I joined the Deloitte graduate scheme. Over eight years and a handful of months I held a variety of Business Change, Programme Management and Assurance roles across both small projects and large, complex transformation programmes in the Public Sector - with particular experience in my latter years in Behavioural and Cultural Change.
After over eight years at Deloitte, I decided it was time for a change. I joined the Berkeley family in February 2017 because I wanted to broaden my experience across new industries and clients – and so I was drawn to the opportunities to experience a wide variety of interesting and challenging roles with great clients. Coupled with this, and even more important to me are the values of community, family, support and fun which are so strong and so evident at Berkeley, and make it such a great place to work. Our people are passionate, dedicated and genuinely want to do what is right for the client.
Outside of work I live in Hampshire with my wife Jo. We have yet to take the plunge into starting a family so I fill my time with a love of sport, movies and travel. I do my level best to keep fit and so try to run as regularly as I can – I completed my first (and quite possibly my last) marathon in London in 2016. Admittedly my playing days are now few and far between but I am a keen follower of Football, Tennis and Rugby, and try to get along to watch the (not so) mighty Wycombe Wanderers a couple of times a season. Having not taken a gap year following university I also try my best to travel as much as I can “in the margins” – with dubious success!
