I graduated with a Masters’ in Mechanical Design Engineering from the University of Glasgow. I found a strange love for 3-D modelling, did a short internship with KPMG Hong Kong and was lucky enough to get some flight training with the RAF. I then worked, travelled and undertook pilot selection and the world’s skies remained far safer as I decided not to pursue military and airline opportunities.
Prior to joining Berkeley, I enjoyed 8 years combining engineering, IT and business at Atkins, predominantly ‘client-side’ helping deliver complex projects and programmes at varying stages in the change lifecycle. I worked in children’s services, education, transport, defence, mining and industrial products, mainly in the public sector. I joined Berkeley in May 2017 as I wanted to continue to work for clients to solve problems rather than continue increasing the time spent on sales and internal management matters.
Outside of work I love playing football, squash and watching almost any sport. When possible I try to hit the snow and surf. I have become increasingly successful at achieving injuries, so am more often found recovering by swimming, cycling or running.
