I graduated with a degree in Management Science from the University of Wales, Swansea and the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I spent a year travelling and working abroad before settling down into the world of work, starting my consulting career at Accenture in 2002.

The most interesting of my roles was in the development sector where I worked with a number of charities in Tanzania, Cambodia, The Balkans, India, Colombia and Venezuela, primarily to help them develop their growth strategies.  Most of my roles, however, were in the UK Energy and Utility industries, with main clients including BP, Shell and EDF Energy. After a number of years, I had carved out a specialism in managing the business change associated with large scale transformation programmes.

After nine years though, it was time for a change. I took a couple of months off to do a little more travelling and joined Berkeley in 2011. I was initially attracted by the opportunity to take on a wider variety of roles in a broader range of industries. I quickly realised, however, that of equal appeal was the unique way that Berkeley works with its clients and the strong values that underpin everything it does.

Since joining Berkeley I have worked in manufacturing, consumer goods and financial services industries at clients including Unilever, Rexam, the Bank of England and the FSA, as well as both of its successor organisations: the FCA and PRA. Roles have been equally as varied, including the project management of a demerger; mobilisation of a five year IT investment programme; design and implementation of revised business processes; development of IT strategy and various Target Operating Model design and implementation projects.

I live in St. Albans in Hertfordshire and when I’m not at work I enjoy riding and racing motorcycles, playing any racquet sport and love any kind of travel.
