I graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. Following a couple of internships in the design studio of a company making ejector seats, I decided that 3D modelling was actually a bit one-dimensional! I then took a year out to work/ski in the French alps, cycle to Rome and travel across Brazil before joining Deloitte in 2011.
Whilst at Deloitte I worked in both Private and Public sectors, doing a mix of project/programme management, business cases, investment appraisals, organisation reviews and operating model design and implementation. The client mix has been equally varied, including defence, utilities, transport, energy and pharmaceuticals. During my seven years at Deloitte I spent nine months working in Switzerland (Basel and Geneva) and 15 months working in Australia (Canberra and Adelaide). I then joined Berkeley in December 2018 in search of a new challenge.
Outside of work I enjoy rugby, cycling, travelling and wildlife. I’ve combined my interests a few times by going on rugby tours to South Africa and Argentina, cycling from London to Rome and completing an anti-poaching programme in Zimbabwe.
