I graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Entrepreneurship. I then went on to join the graduate scheme of a large packaging company where I enjoyed three years of process improvement and lean manufacturing.
Having gained a taste for project work and decided that a career in box-making wasn’t for me, I joined Pcubed, a specialist project and programme management consultancy in London. I spent the next eight years working on a range of IT transformation and business change programmes across the telecoms, banking, manufacturing and public sectors, as well as opening a very large casino in Macau, China.
As with many 30-somethings, my passion for sport involves more sitting and watching than running and jumping, with my football boots and cricket box sadly collecting dust in the shed. I do enjoy the odd triathlon now, which turns out to be a good way of keeping fit as well visiting some nice places around Europe, with the Barcelona Triathlon now becoming a regular event with a few friends.
