I left Southampton university in 1997 with a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology and enjoyed a few months travelling around Australia and Asia before joining Andersen Consulting. I spent 6 years there working predominantly with Oil, Gas and Utility clients in a variety of roles on large business transformation programmes.
I joined Berkeley in late 2004, and the welcoming people combined with interesting work in a range of industries meant I quickly felt at home. During my time here I’ve worked with a range of clients in a wide variety of roles, including business case creation, IT review, strategy creation, system delivery and business implementation. Working as a trusted part of the client side team has been a common characteristic of many roles, and one that I have really enjoyed.
I’m married to Elise and we have a young son who continues to test my sleep patterns. I occasionally still pull on the football boots to perform a Teddy Sheringham-like role (without the pace or goals) for my local team, I enjoy the odd game of tennis and manage to get out for a run less often than I should. I support Brentford FC and look forward to the European Cup coming to Griffin Park some time soon.
