Internal Recruitment and HR Assistant
After graduating from University in Leeds with a degree in Business and Human Resources Management, I set out with the aim of moving into the executive search world. I spent a summer fundraising on the beaches in South Devon for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution before moving to London to start my career at Berwick Partners, part of the Odgers Berndtson executive search firm. Three and a half years later I was specialising in headhunting for senior HR professionals across a multiple of sectors. Although I studied HR at University, this opened my eyes to the varied opportunities that HR can give you. To gain more exposure to this I moved to Deloitte where I was part of the on-site executive search team, headhunting for Senior Managers, Directors and Partners across all of the service lines.
I joined Berkeley in March 2016 to look after our internal recruitment and to also support the People Manager with HR. The prospect of being able to work in an organisation that truly values its people and the chance to expand my human resources knowledge appealed to me.
Outside of work, I love to spend as much time as possible by the sea in South Devon and scuba diving in exotic locations around the world. I also have a great love of good food and wine and intend on expanding my palette during my time at Berkeley.
