After graduating with a Masters in Chemical Engineering I initially worked for British Nuclear Fuels, before moving on to start my consulting career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) 19 years ago. I joined the Financial Services CRM practice, working with most of the major high street banks. After seven years I joined Berkeley, seeking more variety and fresh challenges. I have since worked across a number of industries including utilities, energy, capital markets and healthcare, helping clients with their most difficult challenges.
My most recent work has focussed on the NHS, defining local strategies and mobilising several complex delivery programmes. I’ve also been involved in IT, estates work, and system redesign. Berkeley offers a wide variety of roles, which is what I enjoy the most about our firm. A definite highlight was spending one year operating as the interim CIO for one of the UK’s leading water utilities.
I’m married to Alison with a daughter, Bethan. When I’m not at work I love spending time with my family and I live for sport, I’ll watch just about anything! I’m a keen runner and also play the guitar.
