Meet the team

Russell SassoonRussell Sassoon

After graduating from the University of Bristol, I started my consulting career back in 2007 with Accenture. Here, I got lots of hands-on technology delivery experience with various private sector clients. I then moved onto KPMG to get more business focused consulting experience, primarily around change management in the public sector. And for the final few years of my pre-Berkeley career, I was with Deloitte where I was able to bring together my technology and business consulting experience, whilst managing large-scale technology strategy engagements.
I made the decision to join Berkeley in the summer of 2018 for a number of reasons; the exposure and variety of work that’s on offer was a big factor, but also how down to earth and supportive the firm came across was something I really valued. Since joining, I have undertaken a host of roles that have enthused and stretched me, in equal measure. Some of my most interesting engagements include the management of cutting edge cyber security initiatives in the financial services sector, and the development of business and IT strategies for professional associations.
Outside of work, I live in North West London with my wife, Lianna, and our two children, Florence and Joseph. I try to keep active and enjoy playing football, squash and (trying to play) golf. I am also a bit of a self-confessed geek and am interested in any new tech and gadgets.
