Comic Relief partners with The Berkeley Partnership

Berkeley to provide pro-bono support for the charity’s new strategy

Prominent UK charity Comic Relief has sought support from The Berkeley Partnership on its new strategy. The firm will work on a pro-bono basis in support of the charity’s aims to tackle poverty and inequality in the UK and around the world.

Ahead of the charity’s current five-year strategy drawing to an end in 2022, Berkeley will help Comic Relief on the next stage of its journey. The engagement will seek to help shape a clear and practical strategy, design an effective target operating model, and develop a roadmap for delivery.

Commenting on the engagement, Tom Keohane, partner at the Berkeley Partnership, said, “We are so pleased to be able to support Comic Relief in the best way we know, through providing our professional skills and expertise. Comic Relief is a national treasure, and we look forward to helping set a strategy that maximises its great strengths and enables the organisation to deliver the greatest impact in the UK and overseas in the coming years.”

The charity is best known for its annual Red Nose Day fundraiser. The 2022 appeal has so far successfully raised more than £42.7million.

After a fantastic Red Nose Day, I’m excited to be working on an exciting new strategy that will help maximise our impact. It’s important to ensure our work is as effective and efficient as possible so that we can continue to help millions of vulnerable people. With Berkeley’s support, Comic Relief work will go from strength to strength.”
