1 What do you like most about Berkeley?
What I love most about Berkeley is the way we connect with people. It’s more than just a workplace. We build strong relationships with each other, getting to know each other personally, not just as coworkers. We collaborate on challenging projects but also share meals together and stay active together, such as through pickleball or run club. And we build that same kind of trust with our clients. Our clients rely on us to help them tackle their problems and trust us to partner with their best interests in mind; we often end up delivering more than they expected. The Berkeley commitment to relationship building, both internally and externally, creates a unique and rewarding environment.
2What do you like most about being a transformation leader?
As a transformation leader, the most fulfilling aspect is witnessing tangible progress. I become deeply satisfied in seeing our project outputs materialise into meaningful change. The feeling of accomplishment when a complex transformation goes live, marking the successful implementation of months of work, is thrilling. Similarly, the completion of a comprehensive business case, where we’ve meticulously analysed data and identified strategic opportunities, brings a sense of profound achievement. And when we finalise a detailed roadmap, outlining the path forward in close partnership with our clients, and they visibly recognise the value we've delivered, it reinforces the impact of our work. For me, it isn’t just about delivering a project; seeing our clients’ visions become a reality, and knowing we played a pivotal role in their success, is the ultimate reward.
3What are your goals and aspirations?
Professionally, I aim to create lasting, positive change on my clients, simplifying their work and fostering efficiency through key problem solving techniques. I also strive to make my colleague’s jobs easier through leading by example and through teaching, and to always approach challenges with a friendly, collaborative spirit. I want to build a reputation for delivering effective solutions while maintaining a positive, upbeat, and supportive presence.
Personally, I’m committed to continuous personal growth and making others happy. I seek out diverse perspectives that challenge and broaden my thinking and ability to serve others. I aim to surround myself with people who support my journey and inspire me to keep learning, get uncomfortable, try new opportunities, and be resilient. I try to look for opportunities to gain new knowledge and skills, always keeping an open mind. Ultimately, I strive to bring joy to others, aspiring to share a smile or laugh each day.
