Why did you join Berkeley?

I joined Berkeley because I wanted to be a pivotal part of its growth story. Berkeley gave me the exciting opportunity to be its first Business Services team member hire in New York, to build upon the foundation already laid in the US. It’s my job to recruit smart and talented consultants to carry out the meaningful work our clients need us to perform in order to transform their businesses. What could be better?

What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment?

I'm often described by candidates, whether they are ultimately hired or not, as one of the best and kindest recruiters they've ever had the pleasure to meet and for that, I'm extremely fortunate. My biggest professional accomplishment so far was growing and retaining a team of consultants during a pandemic. Over the last two years, I increased annual headcount at my last strategy firm by at least 20% and have celebrated many of my colleagues’ promotions in that time.

I’m proud of my ability to spot good talent and empower them to grow in their careers. In two years’ time, I hope I’m asked this question again and that my answer will be that “I doubled the number of Berkeley consultants in the New York office” and that all those consultants are happy for choosing Berkeley.  

3  What are you passionate about in life?

I have so many passions! I enjoy yoga, meditation, poker, sailing, golf, snowboarding, dining around the city, and gathering with people I like. I donate a portion of my time and income to effective charities that save or improve the most lives per dollar. For extra fun, I love helping others connect through conversation, especially around careers and purpose.
