1 Why did you join Berkeley?

After spending the first seven years of my career at a large consulting firm, it felt like the right time for a change — and Berkeley offered everything I was looking for, and more. In my first few weeks, I had the chance to meet colleagues across both the London and New York offices, which gave me a real sense of what sets Berkeley apart. Everyone I spoke to shared the same values, a genuine passion for the work we do, and a clear drive to do the right thing by our clients.

The chance to work on some of the most impactful, transformative and high stakes programmes across different sectors – while being given the autonomy and space to get stuck in right alongside my clients – was a major draw and a clear differentiator from other consulting firms. The endless supply of office snacks doesn’t hurt too!

2What core value or approach do you use to help clients achieve their aspirations ?

For me, it’s never about relying solely on standard frameworks or viewing a business need through a single lens. Every client is different, every aspiration is unique, and the broader context often plays a critical role in shaping the right approach. I try to look beyond the immediate problem to understand the wider dynamics – within the organisation, with their partners and across the supply chain. It’s often about finding ways to align people and teams around a shared direction and purpose.

I especially enjoy working closely with business leaders to explore how they can motivate their teams, keep them engaged, and create a culture where people feel genuinely happy and invested in collective success. That’s usually where real, lasting impact comes from.

3What might people be interested in knowing about you?

One thing people are often interested to know about me is that I started learning Taekwondo at the age of six and continued all the way through to university, eventually earning my 2nd Dan black belt. Beyond the more visible physical benefits and self-defence skills, practising martial arts teaches focus, self-discipline, and instils mental resilience. I like to think these are qualities I’ve carried with me since, and they continue to shape how I approach challenges in both my personal life and career.
