1 Why did you join Berkeley?

Quite simply - the people. For me, the biggest driver of both great consulting and job satisfaction is who you work with. That was clear from my first conversations with Berkeley. The people I met were smart, grounded and easy to connect with, with a shared focus on doing the right thing for clients and supporting each other.

I’ve spent my career working on transformation programmes, and I’ve seen that the best outcomes don’t come from a perfect plan - they come from teams who build strong relationships and stay close to the problem. At Berkeley, that way of working felt consistent across the firm.

I was also drawn to the range of work, from shaping strategy through to making it stick. With my background in commercial operations, it gives me the chance to apply that experience in new contexts.

It felt like a place where I could do meaningful work with people I genuinely enjoy working with - and that made it an easy decision.

2 What core value or approach do you use to help clients achieve their aspirations?

I keep coming back to a simple idea: focus on what will work in practice.

Early in my career, I worked on a project in India without laptops or the usual consulting toolkit - everything was done using paper, checklists and simple processes. It forced us to strip things back and focus on what would genuinely make a difference. That experience has stayed with me.

When I work on complex transformation programmes, I start by understanding the problem and the people around it - listening, building trust and creating space for open conversation before moving to solutions.

From there, it’s about bringing the right people together and building on their strengths. Most challenges are solved by teams working well together, aligned around a shared goal.

Throughout, I keep things straightforward. In large organisations, it’s easy for solutions to become over-engineered, so I go back to basics - what problem are we solving, and what will make the biggest difference - and build from there.

It’s a simple approach, but it helps deliver change that sticks.

3 What are you passionate about in life?

I studied psychology and have always been interested in behavioural science, particularly in how to create environments where people can do their best work. I care about building teams where people feel comfortable being themselves, supported, and challenged in the right way - because that’s when they really perform.

I’m also passionate about equality, particularly supporting young women in the workplace. I look for opportunities to get involved, whether that’s mentoring, events, or creating space for people to build confidence and develop. One organisation doing great work in this space is Dress for Success, which helps women return to the workplace.

Balance is equally important to me. Outside of work, I like to stay active – walking my dog, playing tennis, and boxing - and I love travelling, especially discovering (and revisiting) vineyards with my husband. For me, it’s about building a life where I enjoy what I do, have a positive impact, and still make time for what matters outside work.
