These leading industry awards celebrate best practice in HR. The Talent Management Award recognises organisations that take a proactive approach to talent management and succession planning, demonstrating creativity in order to attract and retain the best; whilst the Excellence in Learning and Development category looks for learning and development interventions that have significantly benefited the organisation, particularly if the professionals involved have developed new approaches.
The Berkeley Partnership competes for talent with the ‘Big Four’ consulting firms, from which it hires most of its consultants and therefore its approach to both talent management and learning and development are critical to its success. Offering no bonuses, no sector or service specialisms and no sales targets, Berkeley's structure is designed to ensure that consultants are offered the high level of support required to enable them learn and develop their career. This is the second year running that the firm has been shortlisted for these prestigious industry awards – a reflection of the success of its approach to the development of its people.
