1What’s different about Berkeley for you?

Berkeley’s approach to its business and clients has been a real breath of fresh air. Seeing how they place emphasis on delivering value and building client relationships is so exciting and I can see that it enables the consultants to provide true transformation to companies. I’ve also found Berkeley to be one of the more inclusive workplaces I’ve been in, especially due to the Women at Berkeley community which is full of incredible women to learn from and support. 

2What’s the most important thing you’ve learned in your career so far?

I think the most significant thing I’ve learnt is the importance of listening to people, in both a personal and professional capacity. In many ways it quite literally enables me to do my work effectively, but it also builds great working relationships which I believe creates a more enjoyable work environment! That’s the other important thing I’ve learnt, that working with great people makes life a whole lot better! 

3What are your values and how have they informed your career?  

My key values include always staying true to yourself and the importance of continued self-growth. These have meant that I’m always looking to keep learning and bettering myself, especially in the world of marketing where trends and technology are constantly on the move. They also mean that I thrive in workplaces where I’m around like-minded people who are passionate about their work and are supportive of the people they work with; I’ve definitely found that environment within Berkeley.
