2What’s the most complex challenge you’ve helped a client to overcome?  

I was asked to join a large-scale, struggling finance transformation program - a complex and high-pressure engagement. The program had been running for more than two years but was failing. The team was fatigued, the steerco was worried and the auditors weren’t happy.  

Working closely with two of my colleagues, we led a full reset of the program. I stepped into the role of Technical Delivery Lead - a position that had seen five predecessors, none of whom had been able to turn the program around. Through focused leadership, tighter governance, and targeted technical intervention, we successfully delivered the transformation within the revised budget and 12 month timeline.

It was a significant achievement - not only in getting a complex program back on track and delivered, but in rebuilding trust and proving what effective, hands-on leadership can achieve in the most challenging environments.

3What are you passionate about in life? 

I am mega passionate about being present for my family and being the best parent I can be to my daughter. Watching her grow, learn, and discover the world is incredibly grounding and rewarding - and it motivates me, pushes me to lead by example and create a positive environment for her future.

Beyond family, I care about making a meaningful difference - whether that’s through my client work, in my community, or simply by being someone people can rely on. My Pakistani heritage as well as my religious beliefs have taught me that small, consistent actions can lead to real change - I bring that mindset into everything I do.
