What’s different about Berkeley for you?

When I first joined Berkeley, I spent time talking with as many consultants and partners as I could to get to know more about the people and culture. Everyone I spoke to were consistently giving me the same positive messages – autonomy, trust, great roles, supportive environment, fun and social – and this has been my experience.

I value the mature business model that carefully considers and ensures that decisions made will genuinely give the right result in the long-term, as well as the low level of red tape in everyday processes. I enjoy working with people who are highly intelligent with years of experience in transformation – I’m not afraid of being the least smart person in the room.

What types of engagements excite you the most?

I’ve worked in multiple sectors across a broad spectrum of clients who are on diverse technology journeys to respond to their business problems. The breadth of consulting opportunities appeals to me – no two clients, problems or programs are the same although the themes are often transferable.

Learning on the job is important to me – so joining a project with a new technology or problem to solve gives me the opportunity to apply my experience and knowledge, and work with a client to develop a creative and informed action plan. A day full of meaningful challenge keeps me engaged – and the rewards are worth it, banking more experience to refer to in the future.

3  What are you passionate about in life?

I have two fantastic children and together with my boyfriend we lead an active lifestyle. Running is an important part of my life – you’ll regularly find me exploring the trails in Kent and Surrey. I also run ultra-marathons and have many events lined up. Sunday mornings are all about minis rugby where I’m a volunteer coach for my daughter's age group.

Together we all share a love for travel and have various skiing and sailing holidays featuring on our annual calendar, as well as cultural trips to explore the world. I’d love to combine my running passion with my love of travel and take on a trail race somewhere abroad – that’s next on the list!
