The Women@Berkeley Network

Moving from representation to making an impact

A women’s network that enables success

The Women@Berkeley Network plays a key role in helping The Berkeley Partnership to achieve its DE&I ambitions as a firm, and in enabling our women to succeed both professionally and personally. The initiative is focused on fostering a truly inclusive workplace, where all women can achieve to their full potential.

Active across both the UK and US, the group provides Berkeley’s women with social and professional networking opportunities, learning and development programs, and mentorship and role-modelling. It also offers focused community and support for many of our women’s concerns, such as career progression, balancing work with motherhood, and effective leadership.

The network is sponsored by partners Sameera SimjeeJenna Goldstein, Anne-Lise Antolinos and Mark Stafford, and chaired by consultant Ami Lakhani.

A women’s network that fosters allies

The Women@Berkeley Network is open to both men and women at the firm. The network’s central focus is on supporting and empowering our women, and Berkeley recognizes that everyone, including men, need to play their part.

Men are welcome to take part in select Women@Berkeley Network events so that they can feel equipped to be better allies and champions.

Learning from other experiences and points of view

We recognize the importance of hearing from third parties, who can offer healthy, constructive challenge and fresh thinking. The Women@Berkeley Network facilitates access to third party events and regularly invites external speakers to our own internal events – ensuring we are learning from varied experiences and expert insights.
